Bad weather is expected until March 24 in Uttarakhand

Rain and snow will continue to accumulate in the state until next week. The shift in weather has also caused the temperature to drop by 5 to 6 degrees across the state, resulting in winter-like conditions in mid-March.

On Saturday, the maximum temperature in plain regions like Dehradun and Haridwar ranged from 17 to 19 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature in Gairsain and Uttarkashi, the summer capitals, was less than 15 degrees.

According to reliable sources, The rain is light and dispersed on Sunday, but will pick up on Monday. It would last until March 1 before slowing down again on March 22.
Another round of weather is forecast for March 23 and 24.
